Annika Knoll is 22 years old today. In new clothes, in great fresh greens, we meet the native from the Black Forest at her base in Ruhpolding. Since May I train at the base in Ruhpolding , previously I have trained in my home in the Black Forest “ .
Annika is an utter family man.
„It is always a special feeling to visit my parents,“ says the 22-year-old.
Even while she stays in the Black Forest, everything revolves also around sports. On skis or on the bike, she meets there a professional mountain biker for training.
Mountain biking is simply a lot cooler than riding the road bike. One can understand, both in the Black Forest as well as in Ruhpolding she lives in a paradise for mountain bikers and has the optimal routes practically outside the door.
„With the move to Ruhpolding and the changes in my training, she says proudly, I’ve set new stimuli and that is well advised“.
She feels totally comfortable in her flat with Anna Weidel and the cross-country skier Daniel Herzog. “If I find some time, I cook and bake gladly, that’s my little hobby”, as Annika tells us.
And how are the prospects for the new season?
The joy is written all over her face. ”Important for the upcoming season to me is of course to stay healthy. „
She wants to repeat the very special experience to start at the World Cup events, which she was already allowed to make last winter.
Maybe Annika Knoll could soon recommend herself to be part of the World Cup team.
